| MEMORABLE DISC GOLF MOMENT: |
|
So many great moments... But the one consistent thing I've experienced while traveling across the country was rolling into a new town, heading to the disc golf course, meeting the locals, and instantly being welcomed and taken care of for the rest of the week. |

Comments |
X Avenger (172 gm) |
A long driver that isn't pigishly overstable. This is my main driver, and I use it for straight shots. I keep one new one and one beat one in the bag. The beat one makes a great turnover disc. This disc is almost identical to the older Z Wildcats that everyone loved so much. |
Z Avenger (172 gm) |
More overstable than the X version, this is a great hyzer disc. It holds an almost perfect line even in a modest head wind. |
Z Predator (172 gm) |
Even more overstable than the Z Avenger, I use this disc for extreme hyzers, windy conditions, and as my main sidearm disc. |
Z Tracker (172 gm) |
This is, in my opinion, Discraft's most controllable driver. Great for straight shots, slow hyzers and turnovers. Very predictable, even in moderately windy conditions. Not quite as long as the Avenger, but what you give up in distance you gain in accuracy. This disc is very similar to the old opaque Z XLs that everyone loved so much. |
Z XL (172 gm) |
Turnover disc, plain and simple. Throw it smoothly on an extreme hyzer for those tight shots in the woods where you need a little more distance than you can get out of your midranges. |

Comet (177+ gm) |
This is one of the most underrated discs in the world. The Comet is perfect for straight shots up to about 350 feet, and for epic turnover shots. At high altitude, it flies like a Buzz. This was my go-to disc in the 2003 World Championships in Flagstaff, AZ. I have more aces with this disc than any other disc in my bag. |
Z Buzzz (177+ gm) |
This is the disc I use the most. I keep two in the bag: a first run (very straight flyer), and a newer run (more overstable). This disc is very controllable and predictable. |
Z Wasp (177+ gm) |
More overstable than the Buzzz, this disc sees a lot of action. Because of its stability, you can really rip it. I sometimes use it for those tough 'in between' situations from 320 - 350 feet. |

D Challenger (175 gm) |
I use this disc for distances between 100 - 280 feet, upshots and drives. I keep one beat one for turnovers and straight shots, and one new one for hyzers and distance shots. |
Soft APX (175 gm) |
It's a bit understable, which is perfect for me as I go right at the basket when I putt.
