  • MEMORABLE DISC GOLF MOMENTs
Taking 2nd place at the 2010 Beaver State Fling. I had never been so nervous in my life! The first round I came out with a three stroke lead over Liz Carr, Des Reading, and Val Jenkins. With these three behind me I knew three strokes would not be enough. Playing on their card the rest of the weekend I learned a lot and it was just an honor. Of course I wanted to win, but Liz Carr did amazing and she deserved it! It was just awesome to play with the best women in the world.
    Paige's Disc Golf Tips
A lot of times when you go out to a course and look around it is a bunch of beginners. I see new players throwing the disc straight up most of the time. To fix this, start with the disc level and end at that same height. Just like you are pulling a paper across a table top. However, there are so many elements to disc golf that it is hard to pick just one thing that will boost someone's game, just go introduce yourself and play with them. Most people learn by watching and repeating so when they see you they might pick it up. Who knows they might even ask you some questions!

If you're looking to add more distance I would recommend learning the X step. This is almost like a grapevine motion. One step forward next step behind that first step then one more step in the front. A lot of people modify this once they get it down though. The more run up you get the more momentum that you excel out through the disc.

The most common question I hear is 'What are the benefits of push putting compared to spin putting or the other way around?' I believe the most accuracy comes with spin putting and it is also better in the wind. However, it might turn into a longer come back putt then a push putter might have if you miss. Either way I believe you should find a putt you are comfortable with and stick to it!

    Milo McIver
    Estacada, OR
Beautiful course with great mix of holes!
    Blue Ribbon Pines
    East Bethel, MN
27 hole course that does not wear you out, yet it is very challenging.
    Water Works
    Kansas City, MO
    Lots of elevation!
    DeLaveaga
    Santa Cruz, CA
Amazing course with pretty views and challenging shots
    Towne Lake
    McKinney, TX
Favorite course in Texas by far. Mostly wooded shots, makes you find a line and hit it! Great job Ron Silliman.

    Z Force
    (174 gm)
My go to driver. I know when I pull this out of my bag it is going to go where I want it to and also very far! It is a little bit over stable so i can put it on an anhyzer and know it will end left.
    X Crush
    (max wt)
For my long hyzer shots. This disc is amazing in a head wind and does not deviate from the hyzer line you release it on. A disc I will always throw if there is water or O.B. on the right.
    Z Flash
    (174 g)
Under stable driver. I would compare this to a longer flying comet.
    ESP Pulse
    (174 g)
Pulse has become my forehand disc. When I do throw forehands I try to throw it hard so it can get farther. Sometimes when you throw a disc hard it flips over and cut rolls, not the Pulse!
    Z Surge
    (174 g)
Surge is a great all around disc. It holds almost any line you put it on and flies great in the wind!
    Z Stalker
    (174 g)
Great for shorter range hyzers. I would say it is in between the distance of a driver and a midrange.

    Z Buzzz
    (174 g)
Probably the most well rounded disc on the market. It goes almost as far as a driver but it does not have that sometimes extreme left finish. It will travel wherever you tell it to go and finish on that same line. I highly recommend putting one or two in the bag!
    Z Comet
    (175 g)
My under stable midrange. Good disc for the woods! Holds the anhyzer line that you need.

    Pro D Focus
    (175 g)
My putter and for short range approach shots. Great in a head wind!
    ESP Zone
    (175 g)
Very overstable. Great for short approaches with or without wind.
