| Carlo's MEMORABLE DISC GOLF MOMENT |
|
Playing in the finals at the 2003 KC Wide Open. For me personally, it seemed like the whole disc golf community was there. The Am Worlds were held there that year and we had at least 300 people in the gallery. It was a moment I'll never forget. You gotta love this sport.

| Carlo's Disc Golf Tips |
Most players start with bad technique, so I try to teach players to follow through their shots. A clean follow through will really help add extra glide. Try to finish with your non-throwing arm's elbow pointing in the direction of your release. This will help you to understand the importance of rotating your hips, where most of your real power is.
Developing muscle memory is key when it comes to making putts in tournament rounds. When I practice, I usually just practice putts inside the circle. Short putts are the key to scoring well in rounds. I usually try to just make putts that are inside of 25 feet. Making short putts and lots of them can help with your confidence. I tend to try and make at least 25-50 puts in the circle a day. With proper practice and muscle memory build up, you eventually will be solid enough to score those 1000 round rating that have eluded you because of faulty putting.
Visualization is a practice run in your head. You control the environment. You decide what shots will work. Overall I feel like I am an artist painting the sky with my disc. I am searching for the perfect line to the goal. After visualizing all you can do is just trust your throw an let it go.

A great course with lots of challenges. |

Talk about a course that can punish bad shots. I love the terrain and gorgeous views. |
Kaposia St. Paul, MN |
This course has major elevation changes. Truly a test of accuracy and power. |
Token Creek Madison, WI |
Beautiful fairways and manicured greens. Definitely a course you will want to play if you're in the area. |

Even though this course is only used for major events, it is awesome. The Toboggan can make any top professional frustrated. |

Z Predator (max weight)
|
The fastest, more overstable disc on the market. Backhand, sidearm, or any other way you can think of throwing a disc, it will hyzer fast. Great into a headwind. I usually carry three copies; one brand new, another just beat in and the last will be very seasoned. Carrying multiple versions of the same disc is very helpful in bringing consistency of grip. They all feel the same, yet they fly differently. And, you never know what type of winds you'll have to go up against. |
Z Crush (max weight) |
I use the Crush as a long range roller. The speed of this disc in phenomenal. A consistent roller for strong snap players. |

X Wasp (max weight) |
A good, reliable midrange that can take any headwind. The Wasp is fast and overstable. C'mon now. this disc just hovers and finds what it likes, and stings it! |

Photon Glo Challenger (max weight) |
My number one putter. The Photon Glo plastic is tacky, but yet has the feel of a hard putter. Very good approach disc from 15 to 150 feet. Did I also mention that it glows in the dark? |
