    Larry's Disc Golf Tips
New players worry too much about their score. I suggest you practice, have fun, and forget your score until you're more comfortable with most of the shots.

    The course I learned on.

    A great all around course.

    I love the challenge there.

    Disc Comments
    ESP Surge
    (max weight)
This is my bomber disc. Whenever I need distance, this is the disc I choose. I like the grip and control of the Surge. The plastic never seems to beat in, so it stays in the same predictable stage for a very long time.
    Z Avenger
    X Avenger
    (max weight)
The Avenger is my all around driver. I use the X Avenger for slow turnover shots and really beat up ones for flippy shots. The Z Avengers are for long and medium range control shots.
In The Disc Golf Bag: Midrange
    Disc Comments
    D Wasp
    Z Wasp
    (max weight)
I use the D Wasp for turnover midrange after I have beaten it up. It has a great, consistant turn. The Z Wasp is for shots that need to fade left. it is what i count on when it gets windy.
    Z Buzzz
    X Buzzz
    ESP Buzzz
    (max weight)
I use the Buzzz for all kinds of short and midrange shots. I just started using the ESP version, which is more overstable than the other versions and holds a great hyzer line. I think the Buzzz is the best all around disc made today.
In The Disc Golf Bag: Putt and Approach
    Disc Comments
    D Challenger
    (max weight)
This is my putter disc. Putting is the most important part of the game and you need to feel comfortable with your disc. I know the Challenger is a keeper.
