  • MEMORABLE DISC GOLF MOMENTs:
Winning the 2007 >16 Juniors World Championship. This was the most exciting, nerve-racking, and fun week of disc golf ever! This was the most rewarding payoff for my disc golf career to date. Back to back aces on hole #17 at Stony Creek. One on a skip and one in the air! Playing a round with Ken Climo at the 2006 BHMO. I learned a lot! My two day trip to the 2007 USDGC. I went down to watch the lead card and play Winthrop, but the drive there and back is what really made the trip! Getting my first Am1 sanctioned victory in Bowling Green, OH. I had to park a 400 ft. uphill hole to win in a sudden death playoff.
    Ziggy's Disc Golf Tips
Try not to reach back too fast or move too fast in general. SLOW IT DOWN! Moving fast does not equal more distance. A slow smooth run-up and good form will get you more D than pure arm and speed alone.

When putting, I suggest you don't develop a habit of lining up your feet away from the basket. This is not ideal and will help you miss more putts than you make. Line your feet up toward the basket and remember to fully extend your arm.

In The Disc Golf Bag: Drivers
    Disc Comments
    Z Avenger
    (172 - 174)

Solid disc that will hold a hyzer line the whole way. Its pretty overstable so it will handle a decent headwind.
    ESP Avenger
    (172 - 174)
The ESP Avenger will hold a great straight line. Its less overstable than the Z version so you can hyzer-flip it into a laser beam.
    ESP Surge
    (172 - 174)
A MONSTER OF A DISC! This disc is long, long, long. Great for all out max D for any skill level.
    CryZtal Avenger
    (172 - 174)
The most overstable of the Avenger line. It can handle the snap of a sidearm, even into a headwind. This limited edition CryZtal is not available at retail, only to clubs and tournaments.
    ESP Pulse
    (172 - 174)
Just as fast and unbelievable as the Surge. This one is a lil more stable though. I use it when there is wind present that my Surges can't handle.
    DGA Rouge
    (172 - 174)
Best roller on the market! This one will roll forever and never stop. Its just incredible!
In The Disc Golf Bag: Midrange
    Disc Comments
    Z Buzzz
    (174+ gm)
I have four of these beauties in my bag, all are 2nd First Run. They are my #1 go-to disc in ANY conditions. They will hold any line you put them on and ride it for the discs entire flight. They are flatter than normal Z Buzzz's which make them fit better in my hand. Without these babies I would be lost!
    Z Wasp
    (175 - 176)
A beast of a midrange. Stable enough to handle a headwind and great for hyzer shots. When my Buzzz's can't handle the wind, these come out of the bag.
In The Disc Golf Bag: Putt and Approach
    Disc Comments
    ESP Banger GT
    (174 gm)
Best putter driver on the market. Perfect for anything under 280 ft. Works great for dead on accuracy too. The Groove Top fits my thumb well and it gives me extra grip..
    X Soft APX
    (173 - 174)
GREATEST PUTTER EVER MADE!!!! Straight as an arrow. This thing has little to no fade. If you putt straight at the basket this baby is perfect for you!
