Discraft $10,000 Big D Bounty
Big D in the Desert is back! It's the World Flying Disc Federation Distance Championships, and Discraft is proud to announce our second $10,000 Big D Bounty. The current world distance record of 250 meters (820 feet) by Christian Sandstrom of Sweden has held since 2002. If you set a new record* with a Discraft driver, the Bounty is yours!
- What: WFDF Distance Championships (Big D in the Desert)
- When: April 5-7, 2008
- Who: Event is open to anyone
- Sanctioning: Official WFDF sanctioning
- Where: at Ivanpah Dry Lake, California (Primm, Nevada, at the NV state line, about 40 miles out of Las Vegas).
- Entry fee: $30 USD.

*Details of the Discraft $10,000 Big D Bounty
The following two conditions must be met for a player to be awarded the Discraft Big D Bounty:
1) Player must have the longest official Open division throw of the 2008 Big D in the Desert
competition, and that same throw must be deemed under WFDF rules to be an official new world distance record.
2) Player must fulfill the above conditions using a PDGA approved Discraft disc.
